Location

The University of Chicago Crew rows on the south branch of the Chicago River, rowing through scenic downtown Chicago, as well as the suburbs of northern Chicago. Transportation to and from practice is provided via the team van, which comfortably seats 15. Our indoor practice facilities, including the weight room and erg room, are located inside the Henry Crown Field House on campus, a block away from Pierce Tower and Max Palevsky. We race around the greater Chicagoland area, and in locations as diverse as Butler, PA and Madison, WI. We also participate in Head of the Charles, in Boston MA, and Dad Vails in Philadelphia PA (for a more detailed look where we race, please see the Racing Schedule).
