Amanda Carson
Amanda Carson has had 8 years of experience on two crews as a competitive rower- first at North Suburban High School in Chicago, and then at Georgetown University. After graduating from Georgetown, she returned to her high school juniors program to coach for an additional two and a half years before bringing her expertise to UChicago Crew in 2005. Amanda currently works in advertising in Chicago. |

Eric Mersmann
 | Eric Mersmann is a veteran member of the coaching staff, who has been with the team since he began attending law school at the University of Chicago in 2002. In addition to his years of experience coaching UChicago Crew, Eric also rowed for all four years while at the University of Cincinnati. He currently works as an attorney in Chicago. |
Rosemary Anderson
Rosemary Anderson has had 7 years of rowing experience on two crews - 4 years in St. Ignatius College Prep. in Chicago, and 3 years in college, at Marquette. This is the second year of her coaching career, which has been spent entirely at the University of Chicago. Coaching aside, she works and goes to school. |
Meghan McCleckey
Bjorn Boquist
Bjorn Boquist was born in Bloomington, IN and started competitive athletics as a sophomore in high school, joining the swim team. He took his swimming career to the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He was a four year varsity swimmer, team captain, team MVP, ibis award winner, and most improved swimmer during his time there. After swimming, he wanted to stay competitive and found rowing. He has rowed for the past two years at the Lincoln Park Boat Club and remains involved there.

Jack Schinasi
Jack Schinasi hails from Washington DC where he joined his high school crew team as a sophomore coxswain. He then attended and competed for the University of Michigan for four years, twice leading the first varsity boat to ECAC championships and top 12 finishes at the IRA National Championships ('05 and '07). He has also spent time training with both the US Under-23 and Senior National teams. As a 2007 graduate from Michigan, Jack is enjoying his second year of coaching; his first year at the University of Chicago.
